KEEP IT SIMPLE!
Remember...
Logos, Graphics
or Floral
Clothing with distracting logos, graphics or floral prints will take away from the scenery, your faces & draw the eye directly to that pattern or graphic. If you chose a pattern, coordinate..
neon colors
Unless you plan on being the only one in the photo, neon colors are a bad idea. They reflect big color on to anyone near you & your face..
Accessories
Unless its meaningful, no watches! They are distracting to the eye. Huge chains and baseball caps are again distracting and take the eye away from you, the subject!
hAIR pONYTAIL
Don't go and cut your hair the day or week prior to the session.. You may end up hating your cut, in result the photos. Unless it is your signature look, no pony tails! This is a very harsh look on anyone.
Make-up
Be you! This is not the time to try a new lip shade, try your hand at winged liner, or glitter eye shadow. Do your usual look, if you wear foundation its okay to go heavy..just blend! Highlight and contour can do wonders in photos and lashes if you're into that.
Lastly...
keep it simple
You can't go wrong with solids. Stick to neutrals or earth tones, add 1 or 2 colors to coordinate. No need to wear every piece of jewelry you have. Pick a few pieces to show case and you're out the door.
footwear
Dress shoes = Sure, not required but why not!
Chucks = yes!
Black socks = yes!
AVOID SNEAKERS, especially the ones with huge logos.
Clean shoes = yes!
Heels = yes!
Sandals = yes!

If we are going on a stroll to the location, bring flats to walk in.
coordinate
This is no time to fly by the seat of your pants! PLAN your color pallet in advance so there is no stress the day of. Make a check list so you don't forget anyone or anything! Chose colors wisely and be careful not be too matchy-matchy..

I know.. you're the star of the show and we all love to vogue and pretend we are a super model..BUT please smile. I know you feel like you're giving me a smoldering look but unless youre Tyra Banks you usually look like someone who is constipated. Soft smiles are 100% better!
